Prelude Auction at Synergy

To launch the Stroll, South Of the Navy Yard Artists (SONYA) partners with SYNERGY: A Cultural Collective For Social Change, to host the Prelude Auction, an online and live silent auction exhibition, April 26th- May 15, 2011. The funds raised will help establish a permanent meeting and exhibition space for SONYA’s community outreach programs. Bidding items include: original artworks by SONYArtists and Friends, goods and services donated by local merchants and a trip for two to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico! SYNERGY: A Cultural Collective for Social Change is a multi-faceted platform that nurtures a Brooklyn diversity of art, gastronomy, music and multimedia, employed as a dynamic force to empower, enrich, create awareness and drive social entrepreneurship in the local and global community through its dynamic events and programming.

Lying on the cusp of Clinton Hill and Bedford-Stuyvesant, the new renovation of SYNERGY’s double storefront presence reflects a beautiful and thoughtful design constructed with primarily, re-purposed and locally sourced materials. Comprised of two unique spaces which lead seamlessly to one another and are joined by a lush urban oasis SYNERGY boasts a total of approximately 3000 SqFt of indoor/outdoor space to suit a plethora of event needs.
