Remembrance Exhibition

Submission guidelines:
1. You must be a current active SONYA member, you can join or renew membership here
2. Dimensions should not exceed 36” in any direction

3. All submissions must be ready to hang with proper hardware attached
Your submissions should in some way depict how the power of memory has affected you, your work or your world. The work will hang in the shop for approximately two months. If your work sells, dc optics will take a 10% commission.

Prints Brooklyn will also celebrate the central role of the Brooklyn Museum in promoting and exhibiting the works of contemporary print artists through its historic National Print biennial exhibitions that ran from the late 1940s until the 1980s. Curated by Maribeth Flynn, the exhibition will run from early March until late April.

St. Joseph’s College Alumni Gallery will celebrate Brooklyn prints and printmakers with Prints Brooklyn, the first of a projected long-term series of exhibitions dedicated to the art of contemporary printmaking in Brooklyn.
Prints Brooklyn will also celebrate the central role of the Brooklyn Museum in promoting and exhibiting the works of contemporary print artists through its historic National Print biennial exhibitions that ran from the late 1940s until the 1980s. Curated by Maribeth Flynn, the exhibition will run from early March until late April.
There are opportunities for artists’ talks and visiting artists’ presentations with SJC students throughout the run of the exhibition.
