My work is about being in the present moment. The shifting of thoughts are emotional imprints desiring release, conclusion or closure. I call this “Triggers of Thought”. I paint on a variety of surfaces doors, windows, wood, glass, canvas and paper. I am in a constant search. These materials are new beginnings an opportunity to create new life. I mix pigments to create intense color. The effect of color energy is vital to my work. It is through the use of abstract expression using color and texture that I am able to merge the conscious with the subconscious creating a transformation, allowing for my presence in the work. It is here that I live in the present. I call these works “Neo Abstract Transformation.”
