My recent artwork combines an ongoing interest I have had in the powerful archetype of the circle with the use of an unconventional printing surface, the leaf. This artwork evolved from the creation, in 2007, of over 25 unique, circular monotypes and monoprints, many of which will be on view during the studio stroll. My “leaf prints” and “leaf arrangements” will be featured in a concurrent exhibit titled “Leaf & Circle” at the Prospect Park Audubon Center at the Boathouse in Brooklyn from April 5 – May 26, 2008.
